Guestbook   Biography Honorarium Jane on Patrol Support the Legacy NBC  Castro Memorial News Gallery

Join friends of Patrol Special Police Officer Jane Warner at noon on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 in the Jane Warner Plaza (17th and Market Sts.) to informally remember Jane and celebrate her birthday and her 18 year contribution to public safety.

On November 7, 2010 the Castro neighborhood and many friends and family of Officer Jane joined with Supervisor Bevan Dufty to unveil the plaque and naming of the pedestrian plaza at 17th and Market Streets the "
Jane Warner Plaza" (authorized by unanimous vote of the Board of Supervisors or Oct. 5, click on #16). Twin beacons now stand in the Castro, one honoring Harvey Milk, San Francisco's first gay Mayor, and the other honoring much-loved Officer Jane, who will be remembered forever for her remarkable life of service to beloved clients and neighbors in the Castro, Noe, and the Mission.  Please contribute to the permanent plaque by sending your check to: SF Police Credit Union, Box 22219, San FRancisco 94122-0219. Make checks to: Officer Jane Warner Memorial Fund. Costs will be shared with the City
